Three individuals have been arrested in a suspected human trafficking incident in Knox County. On Saturday, April 20, 2019, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing 16-year-old female. The female was recovered on Sunday, April 21, 2019, after Cincinnati Ohio Police Department received a tip of a girl in the back of a U-Haul. After interviewing the juvenile, it was learned she had allegedly been taken by 34-year-old Michael Nason, 27-year-old Carl Hickman, and 29-year-old Tiffany Cheek, all of Corbin. They were arrested. Hickman will be extradited back to Kentucky. Cheek and Nason were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
