Two Arrested in Knox County Following Unlawful Imprisonment Complaint

On Monday, April 29, 2019, around 1:30am, Knox County Deputies received a call of a female being held against her will in a white vehicle on HWY 2417 in Corbin. Deputies investigated the scene where they observed a white 2016 Chevrolet Malibu in a driveway near a residence on HWY 2417, which quickly pulled out of the driveway nearly striking a patrol car. A vehicular pursuit ensued. A tire deflation device was deployed, which was avoided by the vehicle, nearly striking Corbin Police Officers. A second device was deployed, which was effective. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Grigsby, and his passenger, 33-year-old Tyler Williams, were both arrested. They were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. An allegation of rape by the female victim being held against her will is still being investigated.
