The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office has been conducting a missing person investigation. Tony Gibson, 53, of Johnson Road in London, was last seen around 6:30pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. On Sunday, May 5, 2019, around 1:30pm, ground search teams found a deceased male subject in a creek approximately one mile from the Gibson residence. Positive ID has not been made, but is believed to be Tony Gibson. An autopsy is scheduled in Frankfort to make positive identification and determine cause of death.
