Around 3:30am Monday, May 6, 2019, Knox County Deputy Mikey Ashurst responded to an armed robbery at Wildcat Market located at 9201 Highway 25 East. The suspect was described as around six feet tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a ghillie suit to conceal his identity and threatened the clerk with a handgun, taking an undisclosed amount of cash, before fleeing in a 2012 Jeep Liberty or Commander with the driver’s side brake light out.
