Crews in Martin responded to a vehicle fire on Tuesday evening. The Martin Volunteer Fire Department along with the Maytown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire around 9pm Tuesday, May 7, 2019, on KY Rt 1210 near Hamilton Creek. The vehicle involved in the fire was a Kentucky State Police cruiser. Trooper Ball, who had been operating the cruiser, noticed the vehicle was on fire after stopping at a scene to assist. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
