The Martin City Police Department made an arrest on Friday, May 10, 2019, following a suspicious person complaint. Officer Jonathan Holbrooks responded to a suspicious person complaint at the Floyd County Homeless Shelter in Martin around 10:43pm Friday. While there, a subject, identified as 32-year-old Emmit Kidd, was discovered to be wanted on an active Pike County District Court Bench Warrant. He was arrested and lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the arrest.
