An investigation by the Leslie County Sheriff’s Office has led to the recovery of stolen property. On Sunday, May 5, 2019, Deputy Jeremy Vega received a burglary complaint from the Beechfork area. After reviewing security footage, a search warrant was obtained  for the residence of Jimmie Simpson of Warbranch. A search was performed on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, discovered a white crystal substance, a scale, several baggies, and another individual, identified as James Brock, of Asher, was arrested on a bench warrant, along with Simpson. On Monday, May 20, 2019, the sheriff’s office received an anonymous tip and uncovered two trailer loads of stolen property from a site on Ginger Lane that is directly connected with James Brock. Brock and Simpson were additionally charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
