Update: A man wanted for using an electronic communication system to procure a minor to commit a sex act is now in custody. An arrest warrant was obtained on Friday, May 24, 2019 for 26-year-old Bobby J. Blackburn of Prestonsburg. Attempts at the time to execute the arrest warrant were unsuccessful. On the morning of Thursday, May 29, 2019, Blackburn turned himself into Prestonsburg Police Officers without incident and was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center. If convicted of these allegations, Blackburn faces up to five years in prison.
