A storm in Prestonsburg damaged property and resulted in a fatality on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. The storm began around 2pm. Traffic is limited in downtown Prestonsburg while officials assess damage. Court Street will be closed from Arnold Avenue to Front Street. Front Street will be reverse from West Graham Street to Court Street.  Temporary LED signs have been installed to direct traffic downtown. We will have more information from the press conference held on the event later today.
