Richard Dickerson, the man wanted in connection to a home invasion and assault was arrested on the morning of Saturday, June 8, 2019. Kentucky State Police Post 13 investigators received information that Dickerson was at a residence on Mulberry Lane in the Wooton community. KSP Post 13 personnel responded to the residence with the KSP Special Response Team, which was activated to assist with the attempted apprehension of Richard Dickerson. The subject was located at the residence on Mulberry Lane and was taken into custody without incident. He was lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center, charged with assault, burglary, and wanton endangerment. The owner of the residence, 60-year-old Chester Collett, of Wooton, was arrested, charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
