Two people were found dead inside a home on Ky. 30 in the Shoulder blade community Monday morning.

The man and woman were both adults, and they were pronounced dead by gunshot on scene.

Alice Harold, 55, of Perry County, shot and killed her boyfriend, James Hale, 57, of Breathitt County, before killing herself.

Officials say the couple dated for about two years. There were no reports of domestic violence between them.

Deputies and Kentucky State Police are continuing to investigate the case and the autopsy is underway.
