Traffic Stop Drug Arrest in Knott County

On Thursday, June 13, 2019, Officer Dwight Isaac with Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement was conducting a drug investigation in the Talcum community of Knott County. The investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant and traffic stop that located a large amount of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine, heroin, oxycodone pills, suboxone, gabapentin, 137 other legends drugs, and counterfeit currency. Arrested were 31-year-old Racheal Perry, of Hindman, and 39-year-old Derrick Shepherd of Fisty. Both were lodged in the Perry County Detention Center.
