The Hazard Police Department was notified by a school resource officer of a possible threat involving weapons at Hazard Middle School.

From the investigation, two juveniles were charged with 11 counts of terroristic threatening second degree and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon on school property.

Officers say they found two knives during the investigation.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Officials say there is no threat at this time.
