Officials searching for homeowner after Friday morning fire

A homeowner is unaccounted for following an overnight fire in Powell County.

The fire started around 12:45 a.m. Friday on Maple Street.

Firefighters said they don’t know if the owner was home when the fire started.

Crews plan on doing a secondary search later in the day.

The home is a total loss.
