Two people were arrested in Breathitt County Friday evening following the execution of a search warrant. Troopers with Kentucky State Police post 13 effected the search warranted a residence on Jetts Creek Road in the Jetts Creek community. Troppers Matt Day , Daniel Smoot and Stephen Lewis conducted the search with assistance from Breathitt County Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation approximately 57 pounds of suspected marijuana was seized along with prescription pills, 3 handguns and approximately $235.00 cash. 38 year old Anthony Johnson and 21 year old Brittany Miller, both of Booneville were arrested and lodged in the Tree Forks Regional Jail. Both were charged with trafficking in Marijuana, over 5 pounds. Trooper Matt Day is leading this investigation.
