The crash happened off U.S. 25, around 8 miles north of London.

Officials say 24 year old Jordan Obenauer of London was arrested and charged with murder in relation to the crash.

Investigators said he was driving a 2016 Can-Am Maverick when it crashed resulting in the teen’s death.

Officials said the teenager was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in London where she was pronounced dead.

Details released from the sheriff’s office say  Obenauer admitted to drinking beer, wine, whiskey and a mixed drink before the incident.
