The unthinkable happened in broad daylight on Tuesday, October 29th.

James Combs was in the middle of his workday, when the nightmare unfolded.

“All at once, a man hit me in the face with a pistol,” explained Combs.

The attacker knocked him to the ground, Combs tried to fight back. As he pushed the man away, he could not identify who the attacker was because he was wearing ski mask.

“He jerks lose and fires a gun. I don’t know if he was firing at me or what happened, but I know the gun went off,” Combs added.

Following the attack, the man jumped back into his car and sped off.

“He is still out there and whoever did this, I obviously know him or they wouldn’t have covered their face up.”

Now Combs fears for his life because he knows the attacker is still on the loose.

“You know you are always cautious now. You watch every car move and everyone coming on the lot.”

Surviving the fight with only a few injuries, Combs is thankful to be alive.

The family is offering a $2,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the attacker.
