The race for Attorney General pits a well-known name in Kentucky politics and Floyd County native Greg Stumbo against Republican newcomer Daniel Cameron.
Republican Daniel Cameron was elected as Kentucky Attorney General, making him the first African American to win the office.
Cameron clerked for a federal judge and later served as legal counsel for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
“It’s really heartwarming and encouraging when folks, regardless of political affiliation, walk up to you and express support for you that you put yourself out there and made the decision to put your name on a ballot,” said Cameron.
