Brenda Burke, 78 of Virgie passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born March 23, 1941 in Pike County to the late Troy and Lora Tackett Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Energyville Free Will Baptist Church with David Bentley and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Burke Family Cemetery at Weeksbury. Visitation will be at the Energyville Free Will Baptist Church after 6:00 PM Monday with nightly services beginning at 7:00 PM.
