Floyd Everett “Hawk” Smith Jr., 65, of Phelps, KY, gained his wings on November 19, 2019, while a resident of the Good Shepherd Community Nursing Center at Phelps.  He was born September 10, 1954, in Williamson, WV, a son of the late Floyd & Geraldine “Stump” Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Jones & West Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Casey officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Smith Fork, Phelps, KY. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 10:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home with special services at 7:00 p.m.
