James P. “Jim” McNew age 74 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born March 21, 1945 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Kermit and Ella Lee Isaac McNew.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Ben Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairchild – McNew Cemetery at Lakeville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 25, 2019 and any time prior to the funeral services on Tuesday.
