The Laurel County Sheriff’s Department arrested Edward Gregory of Laurel County.

Deputies were investigating a physical domestic complaint and After talking with the victim and children with the victim, deputies learned Gregory had struck the victim, who was a woman. 

Deputies noted Gregory had injuries to his mouth, but officials said they believe he hit himself in the face.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in London to be treated for her injuries.

Gregory was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
