Paul “Paul Bunyan” Blanton, age 57, a resident of Jellico Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Paul was born February 1, 1962 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of Phyllis Hughes Blanton and the late Kelly B. Blanton. Brother, James Jenkins, also proceeded in death.

Funeral services for Paul Blanton will be conducted Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Flat Fork Freewill Baptist Church in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy William Jenkins will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Blanton Family Cemetery on Jellico Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome from the Salyersville Funeral Home from 3:00 PM till 4:30 PM, at the Flat Fork Church after 6:00 PM Monday, all day Tuesday at the church, and anytime prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the church.
