Dr. Patsy Jackson, Program Administrator for Nursing at Big Sandy Community & Technical College, was recently appointed to a 4-year term on the Capital Planning Advisory Board of the Kentucky General Assembly.  

The membership of the CPAB represents all three branches of government and is empowered to prepare a comprehensive state capital improvement plan and to make funding recommendations to each branch head as to state spending for capital projects. 

Regarding this appointment, Dr. Jackson stated, “It is important to me to serve in various professional capacities as an educator and a citizen of the Commonwealth that reflect a positive image of our System and its employees.”
