Inez Fire Rescue reported through facebook, Thursday evening, how they responded to an unusual call for service.

Ladder 21 responded to New Route 3 for the call of a family dog that had got loose and found itself in a very hairy situation.

The dog had been stuck on the edge of the high wall for some time before it was found. Firefighters responded, safely rescuing the dog. Inez Fire Rescue was assisted on scene by Martin County Sheriff’s Office. Firefighters are always said to rescue cats from trees, what about dogs from cliffs?
The dog was rescued and returned to the family.
