A man is behind bars and is facing several charges, including arson.

Police were called to a home on Jacob Drive in Westport. 

Richard Brown reportedly set the home on fire with his wife and children inside. 

Emergency crews found a loaded rifle placed around the property. They also found Brown hiding in a bush with the help of a heat signature camera.

Brown’s arrest report reveals he fought with police when they found him.

Everyone inside the home made it out safely.
