Kentucky State Police received a call about an abandoned house in Breathitt County.

AT the home troopers found 23 abandoned animals.

They Notified the Kentucky River Regional Animal Shelter of what they found, and Chairman Tammy Noble called an emergency veterinarian.

Many different types of animals were found at the house, cats, dogs, pigs, chickens, ducks and all different kinds of different types of animals were found at the house. 

The specifics of who abandoned the animals is still under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
