James Irvin Samons age 85 of Bevinsville husband of the late George Anna Hall Samons passed away peacefully at his home Saturday January 4th, 2020. James was born on February 10th, 1934 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late George Samons and Francis Mitchell Samons.

Time and Place of Services: Wednesday January 8th, 2020 at 1pm at Little Rock Old Regular Baptist Church (Jacks Creek) Bevinsville, Kentucky

Visitation: begins after 1pm Monday at Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church and all day Tuesday at Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church with nightly services beginning at 7pm with Pastor Louis Ferrari, Visitation will resume after 10am until the time of the funeral Wednesday Morning at Little Rock Old Regular Baptist

Burial: W.R. Hall Cemetery, Bevinsville, Kentucky
