Deputies with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint concerning an unresponsive child.

At the home police found a four-month-old, who was then flown to UK Medical Center in Lexington with a brain bleed.

During their investigation, police discovered the child had fallen head first onto a tile floor while with her father, Dennis Jimmy Bell, 21, of London.

Bell is being charged with wanton endangerment and the condition of the child is currently unknown.
