The CoffeeHouse in Downtown Paintsville has a new owner.

Kyle Melvin, 26, of Johnson County, graduated from Paintsville High School and has spent his years since high school in Knoxville, Tennessee, acquiring a degree in Biblical Studies and traveling the world.

Melvin said it has been his dream for years to own a coffee shop.

Melvin expressed that coffee and the culture that surrounds coffee shops have been passions of his.
