Thomas J Whitaker age 74 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Hazard ARH Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky.  He was born March 04, 1945 in Knox, Indiana to the late Herald and Thelma Joseph Whitaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 26, 2020 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with James Kelly Caudill officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ramey Whitaker Cemetery at Puncheon Creek, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the funeral home after 4:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 and any time prior to funeral services on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested contributions to be made to the Tom’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church, 81 Church Drive, Nippa, Kentucky 41240, the Swampton United Baptist Church, Royalton, Kentucky, or Licking River Baptist Church, 385 S. River Road, Salyersville, Kentucky 41465.
