Judge Robert B. “Bob” Conley announces his candidacy to serve as the next State Supreme Court Justice for the people of Eastern Kentucky. Conley officially filed for the May 19th Primary with the Secretary of State’s Office earlier this month.

Judge Conley is prepared to serve on the State Supreme Court on day one following his 25 plus years of extensive experience as a trial judge. He was elected District Judge by the people of Greenup and Lewis Counties in 1995 and was elected Circuit Judge in 2006. During his time on the bench, his decisions have been focused on following the Constitution and the law, and doing what is right per their mandates. He wants to take these experiences and Eastern Kentucky values to Frankfort to serve as your voice on the Kentucky Supreme Court.

In announcing his candidacy, Judge Conley said “I’m excited to be in this race to serve as the voice for the people of Eastern Kentucky on the Kentucky Supreme Court. I pledge to be a fair, Constitutionally minded Justice focused on doing right by the law. I look forward to making my case to the voters over the coming months.”

Conley earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 1981 before graduating Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1984. Conley was married to the late Melanie Stephens Conley for 28 years and is the proud father of Katie and Brian.
