The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man during a traffic stop early yesterday morning.

A deputy saw a car without a registration plate weaving on the roadway.

The deputy could smell the odor of alcohol coming from the driver. 

After an investigation Lee Bennett Jr. of Corbin was determined to be under the influence.

Bennett is now facing several charges and was taken to the Laurel County Corrections Center.
