In Laurel County Jared Malicoat of East Bernstadt was arrested after deputies responded to a call off Jackson Road.

When deputies arrived, they said they saw Malicoat fighting another man.

Malicoat first tried to run from deputies but after a brief altercation deputies were able to arrest him.

He was taken to the Laurel County Corrections Center.
