There has been a false tweet floating around twitter from a fake account posing as Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. The tweet stated that all Kentucky schools would be closed this coming Monday, March 16th. The Kentucky Department of Education was quick to step in and assure people that the tweet was in fact fake, stating in a tweet,

“There is a fake social media post attributed to Gov. Andy Beshear circulating tonight that falsely states all of Kentucky’s schools will be closed starting March 16, 2020. This is FALSE. For official updates from the governor, follow his account @GovAndyBeshear. #KyEd”
