Effective Immediately, and with the approval of the KY Division of water, Prestonsburg city utilities commission is lifting the boil water advisory that was voluntarily issued on march 13,2020, due to a water line break on North Stoney Brooke Drive.

This advisory included all customers on along this road and all side roads and hollows along the North Stoney Brooke Drive.

The boil water advisory was issued as a precautionary measure.

The waterlines have been flushed and the water supply was not compromised and is safe for customers to use.
