As the number of COVID-19 cases in the state continue to rise, some medical offices are giving patients a drive-thru option. Employees with Frontier Medical Associates have tents set up that allow patients to drive inside and be tested without ever leaving their car.

In the tents, nurses will give patients a full exam, including checking their chests, ears, throat, and taking their vitals. If needed, a doctor will examine them as well. If a patient has symptoms of COVID-19, they will receive Coronavirus testing as well, though the staff says that they do not have many tests left over after treating several people on Monday.

Patients also still have the option of going inside of the offices, where there are “healthy” and “isolation” designated areas.
