Governor Andy Beshear explained why there were inconsistencies in two COVID-19 tests from Floyd and Perry Counties. 

The governor said one ways a mix-up happens is based on where a test is given. Even if a person does not live in a particular county, they may receive a test there and it can sometimes take time to work that out.

Another reason a case could be announced incorrectly is if a person has a different address than where they currently live, or they could be staying with a family member.
