Officials within the UK Healthcare Organization have announced that they will move forward on plans for a 400-bed field hospital in Lexington. Officials said that the set up will be ready in two weeks at the Nutter Field House, which is the UK football team’s practice facility.

The field hospital should help to relieve some of the stress and traffic that the main hospital will be enduring as the potential surge of patients from the Coronavirus could appear at any time.
