Velon Eugene Burgess, age 75, of Hurricane Road, Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Monday April 13, 2020 at his home following an extended illness. Velon was born June 17, 1944 in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of the late Robert and Ollie Stevens.

Following a private visitation and funeral service with Billy Maynard, Adam Akers, and Michael Stevens officiating, Vellon will be buried at the Stevens Cemetery at Hurricane Road, Pikeville, Kentucky.
