Richard Carpenter Matthews,44 years of age, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Highlands ARH Medical Center. Born April 23, 1975 in Pineville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Larry Carrol and Emma Matthews.

The family has arranged for private interment. Arrangements are under the loving direction of the Carter Funeral Home.
