State education officials say that a new report shows that the number of people graduating with either a degree or some other credential has climbed a total of 3.5% in the 2018-2019 school year. It has also been reported that 47% of adults have graduated from a college or university. That percentage is up compared to just 42.5% in 2014.
President of The Council on Postsecondary Education, Dr. Aaron Thompson says that the higher the levels are, the more it will help the state’s labor pool in the future as we face the economic repercussions from COVID-19.
