A Pike County couple was charged over the weekend with allegedly dealing heroin. According to court documents, Joshua Marian, age 33, and Charity Workman, age 28, both of Kentucky, were arrested on Saturday. Kentucky State Police received an anonymous tip about possible heroin dealing at the Appalachian Plaza in South Williamson.

The responding trooper made a traffic-stop on a vehicle that matched the description given in the anonymous tip. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Marian “appeared to be extremely nervous”. The trooper also stated that when Marian exited his vehicle, a “small glass jar” was located with a “white/tan colored powdery substance” that Marian identified as being heroin.
