For Johnson County residents, all absentee ballots are to be mailed to the Clerk’s Office, postmarked no later than June 23rd, 2020. Or it can be dropped off in a secure ballot drop box located in front of the County Clerk’s Office.

On Election Day, there will only be one polling location available to the general public. The Paintsville Elementary School Gym on 325 2nd Street in Paintsville. The school will be open from 6am-6pm.

The Johnson County Court House will be an available polling location by appointment only. The courthouse will only be accepting appointments for the elderly, disabled, and voters with health issues. Extreme caution will be used at both locations and all CDC guidelines along with social distancing will be enforced.
