A burglary in Letcher County this morning ended with one man being shot and killed earlier this morning.

Officials from the Kentucky State Police say that Justin and Kimberly Robinson were at their home when James Duncan broke in.

Duncan was then shot during a confrontation with the Robinsons.

Letcher County’s Deputy Coroner, Derek Meade, pronounced the 39-year-old Duncan dead at the scene.
