Martin City Police Department is reporting that: Martin City Chief of Police Kenny D. Stidham arrested Merlin O. Conn age 46 of Butler Branch, Printer, KY on Saturday evening July 4, 2020 at approximately 4:30PM. The arrest occurred in the City of Martin near Advanced Auto Parts after police were dispatched to a possible Intoxicated Male. Upon arrival at the scene police located this individual. An investigation was conducted on this subject who was determined to be under the influence. This subject was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place– controlled substances and was lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
