The Jenny Wiley Pioneer Festival is here!

The 38th annual Jenny Wiley Pioneer Festival has finally arrived!

The festival is kicking off tonight with a Dog and Cat Show at 6 PM! The pet show will be at the Richmond Parking Lot on Arnold Ave. All animals MUST be current on vaccines, restrained on leashes, and well behaved with the other participants. Owners are responsible for all pet waste.

Opening Ceremonies will follow with performances by The Mystery Meat Blues Band and the KY Opry Jr. Pros.

The fun continues from tonight to the 10th. You don’t want to miss the arts & crafts, food vendors, live music, and your chance to meet and greet with the cast of Lizard Lick Towing (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at noon) and The Turtle Man, himself (Saturday at 3 PM).

There’s so much fun around every corner!

Don’t forget the car show on Saturday! Registration is from 10 am to noon, with awards at 1 PM. It cost $20 to enter.

Also be sure to go out and support the Floyd County Animal Shelter with their Raise The Ruff 5K, Sponsored by your 2020 Miss Jenny Wiley, Hannah Bishop. Registration begins at 5 PM and it’s $25 to enter!
