
During his 4 p.m. update on Sunday, Nov. 22, Gov. Beshear reported 2,194 new cases of COVID-19. This bring’s Kentucky’s total cases to 158,100, with 130,899 of those cases being lab confirmed and 27,201 are probable.
Four new deaths were reported Sunday. Those reported lost to the virus include a 69-year-old woman from Allen County; a 78-year-old man from Daviess County; an 88-year-old man from McCracken County; and a 62-year-old woman from Ohio County.
This makes a total of 1,787 Kentuckians lost to the virus; though 45 of those are probable and only 1,742 are lab confirmed.
Currently 1,533 Kentuckians are hospitalized due COVID-19 related symptoms. With 389 in the ICU and 208 on a ventilator.
Top counties with the most positive cases Sunday were: Jefferson, Fayette, Boone and Kenton. Each of these counties reported more than 100 new cases.
