Highway 15 near the junction of Highway 160 in Knott County was closed early this morning due to a rockfall.

Crews from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet worked to clear the debris and get the road back open for traffic.

This is the same location near Carr Creek Lake that is prone to falls.

As of 6:30 am it was confirmed that the road was cleared and traffic could resume but remain cautious.
