Michael Todd Prater, age 50, a resident of Linden Hurst Drive in Lexington, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Michael was born May 13, 1970 in McDowell, Kentucky to Bill and Carolyn Osborne Prater.

Funeral services for Michael Todd Prater will be conducted Saturday, March 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Travis Lynch will deliver comforting words on the day of the service. Interment will follow in the Bailey Family Cemetery on Higgins Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, March 12, 2021 at 5:00 PM from the Park United Methodist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, Friday, March 13, 2021 after 1:00 PM from the Salyersville Funeral Home, and anytime prior to funeral services.
